Ham Cooking Instructions
REMOVE HAM FROM PLASTIC OR PAPER BEFORE COOKING.
We keep our hams near freezing after they are smoked. Some may need time to thaw before cooking.
Your Pork Shop Ham is fully cooked. To heat your Pork Shop ham place it in the oven at 325 for 10-15 minutes per pound. Basting should be done in the last hour of cooking.
To baste your ham, remove it from the oven and score diagonal shallow cuts across the top. Apply a generous amount of glaze and place back in the oven for one hour basting every 10-15 minutes depending on how strong you want the basting flavor.
Allow the ham to rest covered for at least 10 minutes to allow the juices and heat to distribute evenly.
